Itinerary
Arrival in Tbilisi. You will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel .Tbilisi, the lively and historic capital of Georgia, lies on both banks of the Mtkvari River and is embraced by mountains on three sides. The city’s name comes from the old Georgian word “Tbilisi,” meaning “warm.” Archaeological evidence suggests that the area has been inhabited since as early as the 4th millennium BC.After checking in at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at your own pace.Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Around 10:00 AM, we’ll head out for a guided exploration of OLD TBILISI — the heart of Georgia’s historic charm. Our walking journey begins at Europe Square and will take you through key landmarks such as the Metekhi Church. From there, enjoy a scenic ride via cable car to reach the iconic Narikala Fortress, offering panoramic views of the city. Nearby stands the famous “Mother of Kartli” statue, a symbol of Georgian strength and hospitality. We’ll then descend toward the atmospheric Abanotubani (Sulfur Bath District), and continue on foot to the serene Legvtakhevi Waterfall — a perfect spot to pause and take some photos. Later in the day, we’ll drive to the hilltop Jvari Monastery, an architectural gem that offers sweeping views over Mtskheta — Georgia’s ancient capital — and the meeting point of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. As we return to Tbilisi, we’ll stop to admire the impressive Chronicles of Georgia monument, which showcases the country’s rich history and spiritual heritage in massive sculptural form. To end the day, you’ll have free time to shop and relax at either Tbilisi Mall or Galleria Mall, as per your preference.Overnight stay in Tbilisi.
