Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our local representative holding a placard with your name. You’ll then be transferred comfortably to your hotel for check-in. Optional Evening Excursion Later in the evening, you may choose to experience the world-famous Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza. This fascinating show takes you on a journey back thousands of years, as the Sphinx narrates the mysteries of how the great pyramids were built and tells the legendary stories of Pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Available in multiple languages, the show brings ancient Egypt’s legacy vividly to life. Overnight stay in Cairo.
After a delightful breakfast at your hotel, our representative will meet you and take you for a full-day tour of Cairo’s highlights. Begin with the world-famous Pyramids of Giza—the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Pyramid of Chephren, and Mykerinus. Continue to the Panorama viewpoint for fantastic photo opportunities before visiting the majestic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Next, explore the Papyrus Institute to learn about ancient paper-making techniques, followed by a chance to shop at the Papyrus Museum, Perfume Factory, and Jewelry Center. After enjoying a delicious breakfast on board, relax and take in the breathtaking views of the Nile while the cruise sails towards Kom Ombo. Walk through the legendary Valley of the Kings, the resting place of pharaohs, then continue to the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece nestled at the base of towering cliffs. On the way back, marvel at the imposing Colossi of Memnon, the two giant statues that have stood guard for centuries.
