Itinerary

Arrive in Istanbul. Nestled in the Marmara region of Turkey, Istanbul is one of the world’s most captivating and mysterious cities. It beautifully blends East and West, ancient and modern, tradition and trend, offering visitors a unique harmony of contrasts. On arrival, you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the charm of this vibrant city. Overnight in Istanbul.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we set out to explore the Sultan Ahmet Center, the very heart of Istanbul’s Old City from where both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. Our journey begins with the Hagia Sophia, the Church of Divine Wisdom, a breathtaking architectural marvel originally built in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian as a basilica. Just opposite stands the magnificent Blue Mosque, adorned with exquisite İznik tiles and unique with its six elegant minarets, built in honor of Sultan Ahmet. Next, we visit the Hippodrome, once the grand center of chariot races, athletics, and political events in Byzantine times. Here you can admire monuments such as the Serpentine Column, the Obelisk of Theodosius, and the German Fountain of Wilhelm II. We then explore the Grand Covered Bazaar, the world’s largest and most fascinating market with nearly 4,000 shops offering antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware, handicrafts, and souvenirs. After shopping, enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, discover the Topkapı Palace, the opulent residence of Ottoman Sultans for centuries. The palace houses priceless treasures, sacred Islamic relics of Prophet Mohammed, fine Chinese porcelain, ornate weapons, calligraphy, and more (Harem section excluded). Finally, we visit the Sultan Tombs at Hagia Sophia, where five Ottoman Sultans rest. The tombs are adorned with 16th-century ceramic panels in hues of purple, red, green, and blue, and display prince robes and fragments from the Kaaba cover. Overnight in Istanbul.

Begin your morning with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a Half-Day Morning City Tour.Enjoy a scenic Bosphorus Cruise on a regular boat, where you’ll witness stunning views of Istanbul’s iconic skyline, charming waterfront mansions, and the meeting point of Europe and Asia. Continue to the bustling Spice Market, a centuries-old bazaar where the air is filled with the rich aromas of exotic spices, herbs, and local delicacies. After the tour, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.
