Breakfast at your hotel. Begin your exploration of Riyadh with a visit to the National Museum, the Kingdom’s foremost guardian of heritage and culture. Here, you’ll discover a remarkable collection of artifacts that trace the story of the Arabian Peninsula from ancient times to the modern era. Next, continue to the historic Murrabba Palace, once the royal residence of King Abdulaziz. Named for its unique 40-by-40-meter square design, the palace today stands as one of Riyadh’s most important museums. Nearby, a modern annex displays a collection of King Abdulaziz’s personal belongings, offering further insight into the foundations of the Saudi nation.
